Annual subscription increase

Please note that in 2017, an announcement was made in relation to the subscription increase in monthly contributions by Educators which was to be implemented from the 1st November 2017.

The Ministerial approval for the increase was granted on the 17 September 2017.

Due to unforeseen circumstances and processes beyond the Council’s control this could not be implemented.

Notice is hereby given that these deductions will be effected as from the 1st March 2018 as follows:

• 1st March 2018        

Once off R20 arrears for the period November 2017 – February 2018 and R15 March deduction will be R35.

• April 2018 onwards:  

R15.00 monthly subscription.
